Job vacancy: Workshop Assistant at Xcelsior

Hey, you handy person! Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and working with precision? Do you like working with your hands and seeing the immediate results of your work? For our workshop in The Hague, we’re looking for an enthusiastic workshop assistant (32 hours) to help with making and customising shoes and soles.

What will you be doing?:

• Making orthotic insoles (using machines and by hand)
• Crafting bespoke flip-flops and sandals
• Altering and repairing shoes
• Fitting and dispatching insoles
• Helping customers collect their insoles and answering their questions
• Contributing ideas and working alongside podiatrists and colleagues
• Ensuring the workshop is kept tidy and that machinery is well maintained
