Back pain
One of the main causes of back pain is poor posture, which is often linked to an improper walking pattern. This problem starts at the foundation: the feet. When the feet don’t function properly—such as due to overpronation, insufficient support, or lack of stability—it triggers a chain reaction that affects the entire musculoskeletal system.
These abnormalities in walking patterns can cause the knees and hips to become misaligned, ultimately leading to unnatural strain on the back muscles and spine. This ongoing imbalance can result in overworked back muscles, leading to pain or stiffness. Therefore, improper foot positioning or movement indirectly worsens posture and exacerbates back pain.
